The water resistance test Baitrunner is so easy to use. Just turn the notch to the right to increase the drag force or left to reduce the drag force. To maximize the drag force, tighten the notch in its entirety. Give the handle a twist and drag you have preset normal fit. The secondary drive system allows the bait to float freely and naturally, much more. Free spool tension can be adjusted with the joystick. Change Baitrunner lever position to put the reel in total free spool. This drive system design secondary Shimano Baitrunner has never been equaled by any other roll. Turn the tension knob clockwise to reduce tension or free spool clockwise to increase tension. Once you have fished the bait on the reel out of control, can set the hook by simply turning the handle. The Baitrunner immediately move to drag on. Thus, the drag previous preset will take over the fish is placed in. The Baitrunner can be shifted manually by changing the lever to the Drag On position. The Drag is waterproof sealed against salt water spray and wind. The Super Stop II eliminates backplay. Power Roller III reduces line twist. And Dyna Balance eliminates wobble when the fish recover. This stabilizes the line, making it easier for you to control your capture. The Baitrunner also has 3 Anti-rust ball bearings (A-RB) Stainless Steel with ten times more protection against corrosion than ordinary stainless steel. Apart from these three A-RB, this Shimano reel also has a roller bearing that can be on or off to allow some degree of backreeling.
Compared with other Shimano reels, the Baitrunner and Socorro are the only offshore reels Shimano rotating frame with graphite sideplate and rotor. This feature makes a lightweight but sturdy Baitrunner reel, ideal for fishing on the high seas where capture is unpredictable. The Baitrunner T also has a single flat-type rubber grip that is reversible. Specially designed to accommodate and assist both lefties and fishermen skilled, this Shimano reel handle is comfortable, flexible and easy to adjust.
