Back Rods

Spinning fishing rods are best used in areas of freshwater, although you can buy heavier rods for saltwater or the use of the boat. Spin rods are designed to suit a style eggbeater reel and used for casting and retrieving lures and baits. Many general-purpose bar called spinning rods. Chances are if you want to do some river fishing, some fishing pier, or maybe fishing boat light a fishing rod rotation can be your best option. Spin bars usually have a length of 1.6 m to 2.4 m.

Surf Rods

Surf rods tend that the longer fishing rods, and usually are quite heavy in construction and weight as well. They are long to help in casting bait and sinkers / Front from the beach into the waves. In addition, it can take quite large fish with navigation bars (including sharks) as a rod with a lot of force is necessary. Surf rods are designed to eggbeater reels, overhead / sidecast reels and conventional reels. They are typically 3m to 4.2 m in length.

Game Fishing Rods

Busbars are used for saltwater fishing in deeper. They are designed to catch large pelagic fish and usually designed to keep the fishing line up to 37kg 10/15kg force. Busbars are thick and not bend easily. They often have an accessory gimbal butt section so it can be used in a fishing harness or chair. Guides often have one or more "roll" instead liner guides.

Cañas

Fly fishing rods are designed to catch freshwater fish, mostly for usually trout, grouper or salmon. They are between 1.8 and 3.6 m long and have a thin 'whip' in white. They are designed to hold fly fishing reels and are mainly used for freshwater fishing (although some people are now using larger, heavier fly rod for fishing ground some salt too).

Boat Rods

Boat rods are probably a subclass of spinning rods, but are shorter and heavier long designed for the rigors of saltwater fishing. They can be short and medium length (1.6 to 2.1 m in length) and be capable of supporting line weight 10 to 20 kg. In Australia, for example, boat rods are used for snapper and shark fishing, and can be designed to support overhead / style eggbeater conventional reels.

Construction

Most bars are made of either material, fiberglass or graphite.

Fiberglass rods are resistant, you can usually bend, and cheaper. However, the graphite rods can provide a better "feel" and now thanks to technology improvement can be very hard and resistant as well. graphite shafts are usually more expensive.

Quality / Brand

There are many brands of reeds fish in the market these days. Some brands are known worldwide, others are local to a country or region, and there are a growing number of very small marks due to the ease of importing goods directly from factories and the sin of China agent (eg eBay business cover).

The fact is that most bars in the world are manufactured in Asia. Usually in China. Large companies and brands around the use of very large and sophisticated factories. The smaller brands factories or the use of contract or lug-class factories. There are many factories in the bar, so the quality may vary. We recommend sticking to brands known and distributors in your area who can offer support, have good product knowledge and can offer good value too.

Search Retailers good reputation, and do some price research before buying.

Trolling For Rockfish

Trolling is the preferred method fisheries that target striped bass (aka rockfish) during spring and autumn seasons in the Chesapeake Bay. The two main areas which are the focus of this article are those recommended and to address the skills needed to catch rockfish.

TACKLE: Over the years we have experimented with many different configurations and for some that worked well and others did not. Here are my recommendations as to what works best.

BARS: For your brush bars on board recommend a 6-6 ½ foot rod 30-50 lb class. The rods must have a driveshaft and a solid set of guidelines. Stay away from the guides ceramic inserts. roller guides are not necessary and a sign most likely to happen. Use power in high seas fishing poles are available in Bass Pro Shops and should last a lifetime. The cost is about $ 90 per rod. All the features required for boat rods are the same except that I recommend a rod of 40 to 60 pound class rods because of their boat will be used normally to travel relatively heavier baits included in the line of leads.

REELS: For your planer board reels Tekoda recommend Shimano 700 and Shimano reels for boat recommend Tekoda 800. On reaching the reels you want to adjust the spool drive out a place extreme position, as it will give the angler more influence on fish when starting the handle.

LINE: For your planer board reels recommend 50 pounds test mono or light or dark green camouflage. I tend to stay away from the high-visibility fishing Chesapeake Bay. They also often do not put the line spools braided my table because the braided line has a higher propensity to clip out Scotty. If you prefer to use braided line on their reels brush lounge and many people, then I recommend at least 80 pounds of tests to ensure the line does not accidentally get out of the clip. To recommend 65 pounds ship reels power test moss green professional. I have no problem also queue a couple of reels with monel wire. I grew up with wire and still many catches of redfish on the line wire every season. As their leaders recommend 60 pound test fluorocarbon, but given the cost of any clear visibility monofilament or lower will suffice.

LURES: Tandem platforms mostly use chartreuse and white parachute added. Teams also use umbrellas. Our tandem is typically 2-4, 4-6 and 6 to 8 oz with 9 inch shad combos herein. Usually use of products produced by local outfitters. For more information on specific companies and brands to use please contact me by email to the email address below and that will provide more people who can meet your needs. I should note that fit our final baits very often and have found that green and yellow connects Tomic green, made in France, works very well. Also do not be afraid to use a spoon or tony alewive accetta paralyzed either.

THE SPREAD: We run 21 lines of a fisherman 35 ft Carolina Classic express a beam of 14 feet. I know that many charter captains who run many more lines than that. My philosophy is simple. Troll as many lines as you feel comfortable. Mitigating factors include the number of rod holders you have access, the width of your boat beam, and the level of their team experience. The last thing I want to do is compete against a charter boat. Most charter boats run 2 trips a day and use as many reeds as possible, and that greatly increases the chances that it will return to base with satisfied customers in time to pick up your next party. The typical fishing is out there for the love of the sport should require a period of 140-foot line and 30 brush rods deployed to catch fish rock.

BRUSH BOARD OF MATHEMATICS: In the beginning of your fishing day is necessary to stagger the distances and the weights you need to find where in column water rockfish are food and adjust your drag properly fund. Be careful not to put your lures heavier the position far beyond their Brush board because this increases the likelihood of a tangle when the bait is beaten. Usually the lightest to work hard, no significant weight change on the lines of our board. I do not recommend the implementation of any brush lines in tandem with a combined weight of more than 14 ounces. We recommend leave the deepest running platforms heavy boat rods no planer boards. To implement its bar planer sure to set the distance from the bait behind the right boat to remember that if the bait farther out beaten and removed from its clip will reduce the distance far behind the boat. For example, if the board is monitoring brush 100 feet from a beam of your boat and you drop a bait 120 feet back and run all the way to the board to be beaten will brush fish 220 feet behind the boat. Why is it important to take into account? Because we must be careful to adjust each additional line is put out in their line of cardboard planer to ensure adequate separation. If you can not do what they will spend more time sorting through the tangle of fishing. For example, taking in the example above is not to put the bait next 140 meters behind the boat and return to a position 80 feet from a beam of your boat, because if both baits get beaten at the same time, fish 2 is right on top of each other exactly 220 feet behind your boat. At that time the only distance separation fish 2 and extends 220 feet line is the horizontal distance between the respective rod holders.

BOAT DELIVERY: At the beginning of your fishing day is recommended towing speed between 3 and 3.5 knots over ground. For some ships inland, this means you may need to have a valve drive installed. As a short-you can use a sea anchor to slow down, but this is not a good permanent solution and is another potential obstacle fishermen should be avoided when landing a fish. You want to pay special attention to the drift velocity and note that accelerates as more successful. In a day slow, do not hesitate to adjust their speed. Our basic principle is the coldest water temperature more slowly than troll. In the winter months we have controlled as slow as 2 knots and the fish caught.

Commercial fishing: The work of the channel edges in a zig zag from one side of the channel to another until you find the fish. Depths of 35 to 80 feet are most appropriate. Often our bars drop ship back a bit more when we're in the middle of the channel and adjust appropriately when we reached the banks of the canal. Its not really looking for fish bait, but rather where bait is not intended to be fish. Watch for diving birds and large schools of menhaden may see on your strongest. Check the larger schools and not be afraid to turn back on the marks on several occasions since multiple directions.

KNOW THE TIDES: If readers take one thing away from this article must be the importance of knowing your tide information. Always have a tide table in the boat and make sure to note the times of high tide, low and loose in your area before leaving the dock. Rockfish always the best snack at an ebb or flood and are much less likely to bite on a slack tide. If you do not have a full day to put on their fishing effort sure to plan your time output to avoid fishing the slack tide conditions.

Buying the Right Fishing Rod

Fishing rods come in a huge variety. You can buy fishing rods for fishing from a boat in inland waters in the rivers for fly fishing, off the beach, the rocks, so the overhead and reels rotating and a huge list of other applications. The trick is to get a bar that will fill the requirements of what you are doing. You are not going to buy a racing car for go four wheel driving, so not buying a beach bar and wait out in the boat with you.

Fly fishing rods are very different from the bars standard fishing and reels up the different bars as well (though some bars may work both ways with an overhead or spinning reel.) Buy a bar that is in your budget, but you'll do what you want. If you just go fishing a few times a year maybe get that good looking graphite rod is not a good idea, knock a couple of times and you are up for a rod. Fiberglass rods are a great start, as they are strong and long lasting. No matter if you drop it, unlike the fragile graphite rods!

What is most important in a bar is usually the length and composition. To fishing in the biggest beach bar, the better (but not anything more than 15 feet) assuming a fully developed adult. Children are better to use rods the beach, and they are easier to handle. Freshwater fishing, fishing off the rocks and fishing from a boat can be done with a smaller rod, but tend bar boat to be a little less flexible (depending on what you are trying to get!). There are a variety of bars can get, but you should get help from someone who has experience to walk into a fishing store.
