shark fishing tackle
I'm going fishing in Florida right on the beach and need some advice??
I usually pull in the catch of shrimp and catfish and shark small and somewhat strange looking silver small fish (cannot Tho members of the name) that keeps jumping out of water. I want to go there and get something at least 5 pounds. any suggestion on bait, lures, tackle, line, techniques, or advice of any kind?? Im going to the beach right near my hotel and goes to the sandbar. THANK YOU!
The silver fish fish could be called queen, not good to eat. rods get good waves maybe 8 or more footers and get what they call a Pompano platform has 3 hooks and clips of ballast in the bottom. You may have a heavy weight 3 ounces or more. 20 pound line should work fine. Use lighter if you do not fish near docks, piers or rocks to use sand fleas or shrimp bait. Camarón the Most of the catches of all marine fish can also use live finger mullet or Pinfish. I'm not sure where but in the south are biting enough Snook well. And live pinfish and mullet I'm tired so I'll add more later, but can also throw silver spoons, mirror lures, Berkley gulp shrimp Templates DOA shrimp and minnows rigged exude a head template. When fishing lures fish fairly fast and erratic saltwater fish are more active than bass. Try fishing off the docks or piers, if they have the opportunity. Good luck
