Do my fish have White-Spot? (Pictures)?
I have two fish in my tank that appear to have a chalky-like substance on them. One is a Rainbow Shark, the other a YoYo/Pakistani Loach. My pictures aren't that great, but I thought it would help.

It does not look like Ich. It looks more like fungus. Here is a picture of Ich: http://www.kokosgoldfish.com/2002/IIck.jpg
To treat, remove affected fish to hospital tank if possible. Swabbing fungus patch with iodine may be sufficient to cure problem. If not, EITHER treat with fungicidal medication (e.g Jungle Fungus Eliminator in US, Anti-Fungus Remedy in UK) OR a .3% salt solution.
