I've been fishing for about a year, but I have yet to catch a bass, so I want to do in a lake or large pond, I cast my lure to the center of the lake or the sea? I used to cast my lure to the thick grass, but I lost a lot of spinners, so I decided not do that anymore. How do you feel when a strike on the lure, is it really obvious? Because everything that catches are types of fish and really does not give battle, so I could have left out some low because I did not know they attack. I know this depends on the time, the fish and my skills, but what is the best type lure to catch bass in your opinion? I use worms, spinners, crankbaits and spoons somtimes. your little discouraging when I wash and try to turn my bait or slow bait worm and still nothing. I'm certainly Northeast Ohio, where they help answer some of my questions. any other advice is welcome, thanks!
The grave is where the food is. Think logically, where the bait? Are there areas of reeds or fallen trees? Both are major centers of the bass. In warm weather, can go deeper, cooler water. A tip, if you are sick of losing lures, try replacing the hooks with a "Weedless 'Variety, which have a piece of wire or plastic hook protrudes above the yawning; This prevents weeds from tangling in the hooks, but offers minimal resistance any strike.
