This bar is not good for fresh and saltwater fishing?
The link above http://www.amazon.com/Quantum-Optix-Spinning-70-Inch-Medium/dp/B001NPCJLY is a rod and reel combo I got very cheap at Sports Authority. I mostly fish or the Everglades or the intercostal Dearfield beach here in Florida. Usually medium-sized fish or red snapper barracuda in salt water. I just wanted to know the will of the fishing rod handle salt water and will break if I were to have probably a great success, rarely do. I understand that its not a saltwater rod and I have to wash with water after each trip to the intercostal, but rather that. Any advice and help greatly appreciated, and I'm still a newbie to fishing and have much to learn Thank you.
Some information within you must know about "combo" suit: In general, the purchase of a "combo" team is rarely a good idea. Combo 30 teams come with a packing box with very little or care to keep them safe during the shipping process. Combo team are often "2nds" that the manufacturer has sold at a discount price and get rid mounted of surplus new range which is slightly defective or not popular. They agree with a good reel with a rod of 2ND/slightly defective (or vice versa )....... Here's how a retailer can sell so cheap combo ........ For this reason, it is always a better idea to buy your rod and reel separately. (That was a director of Fisheries Department Sports a year ago the AU and know that this is true, but I suppose you do not have to take my word on this subject, please check yourself for more information.) As for its combination of Quantum Optix? After reading a couple of comments, is what I call a "disposable" computer. The reel is the only currently sold for $ 20 almost everywhere. That means that the rod is either a second (and is technically worthless) or only worth about $ 8. Enjoy the coil during the time it works. (But in the future, go to Bass Pro Shops or Cabelas extensive research on a reel / rod before buying.
