Is catching red groupers today legal in the Gulf?
I always fish in Marco Island, FL (Gulf), but a buddy and I are confused about the grouper regulations of today. Is it legal to catch a Red Grouper in the Gulf, and if so, what is the minimum size it has to be?
Yes it is always legal to catch Grouper in Florida, it's the keeping that is the problem. I'm gonna be honest w/ you I can't keep up with Florida Grouper and Snapper regulations either so I don't know. Go to the FWC website and it will tell you. I would look it up for you but I gotta go!
