Striped Bass fishing in Cape Cod Bay can be fantastic. There are many good areas to fish right on the beach, piers, docks and a ship's course. The Cabo is well known for striped bass and is definitely one of the best places to fish for striped bass. Race Point off Provincetown is world famous for sport fishing. And there are many great captains of ships in the Cape. We shot a big striped bass and bluefish show Fishguts flame, Ed McDonough, Howard and Captain Al Rich Schelle out Schelfish aboard the Plymouth. Many of the shows were of Race Point and Plymouth.
Another exceptional location for catching stripers is Billingsgate Shoals off Wellfleet. It seems that almost every day when you go for striped bass are catching fish, as long as you pay attention to food. This year seems to be a great year.
Stripers must be at least 28 inches to keep, and you can only keep two stripers of that size or larger per fisherman.
Another ideal place to fish for striped bass in Cape Cod Bay is known as the fingers. The fingers can be a very lucrative mid-summer during the midnight tide. I Chum Fishguts prefer black eel tube controlled 2kts a slow speed using the baseline lead. We have caught several fish at 40 pounds in the area.
There are several ways to fish for bass. You can throw Bucktails, rubber eels, kastmasters or Hopkins lures. The recovery should be very slow. Of course, speed should be varied, if you do not get any results. A fisherman can fish for stripers background. I mean he / she can use chunks of mackerel and throwing an object heavy out on the beach, pier or boat and let it sit in the background. Some anglers prefer a float to keep the bait on the bottom and away from the crabs that are otherwise eat it.
Chumming also works very well with fishing for striped bass in Cape Cod Bay. Priming is done by setting a stain Friend clams, Pogie oil, chunks of mackerel, etc. This can be expensive, but it works. Remember that no more than a friend. Attract fish to the boat, but no more than give them eat. After the stain friend has started to launch a live eel or float a new piece of bait similar to what your stain is and let it drift with you mate. Should not take so long before you are connected.
Some fishermen swear by live eels and they do work well. There have been many books written in this quarry. I could go and keep on fishing for striped bass, but I can only give some pointers in this article.
My final advice is that the only way to catch is low out and give it a try. You can catch striped bass from the beach, fishing piers, jetties and boats. And do not forget that children who participate in sporfishing. It gives lasting memories and is an excellent alternative to drug abuse. And remember that if you're not going to eat fish, practice catch and release.
We in the water.

Secrets Revealed! How to fish for cod - By an Expert
Cod is one of the most sought-after fish in fishing season and is available surfing near the shore. And, the best time to catch mature cod in the winter. You can find several fishing clubs and resorts that offer great cod fishing trips with discount offers and all the facilities for fishing in the North Atlantic, North Sea, and entire Arctic. A fat female cod produces about 10 million eggs. Imagine what a great fishing experience Cod fishing offers.
It is safe that fishing is an adventure of great celebration, but do you know how to fish for cod? And if you do not know, it's better if you learn how to fish for cod and then step platform adventure.
At first you need to know when and in what time is available near coast cod. The best time to fish cod Winter is cold and especially when the tide is fast and loud. This is the right time, when the sea is full of food and can take a wide of them near the coast and especially at night. Next on the ladder is the kind of bar, and the network addresses to be used in the catch of cod and apple. Cod fish are real heavy and make sure you have a good team and heavy cast, so you can pull them with ease. It would be better if additional equipment is kept ready with bait from cod hunting for food in groups of 5-6 and as soon as the cod comes to navigation may have opportunity enough for two or three of them into an opportunity. Make sure the cast can go to a depth of 6 oz lead and bait to 100 meters.
The best way to learn to catch cod is by practicing on a beach solitary, as during the entire season, the beaches are full of fish and which, when rookie will not be able to maintain the grounds. You can take 18 to 20 feet beach for pitcher cod fishery. One of the most important things you should consider with respect to the line of fish is to be about 35 40 pounds as a cod-fish heavy. Choose the location from which to make fishing and then mark the ground with a tripod. After walking 50 to 60 meters of the tide and the distance may vary according to the speed of the tide and wind. Do not jerk the hook cod when it as tidal waves can remove the hook from the line. When you feel that cod has beaten waves release the clutch a little fishing rod.
Now, the basic points should be considered when cod fishing was inclined to include:
or Never the tread and deeper in the ocean alone. It would be advisable to take an experienced angler along even when they have learned to catch cod.
or Carry over the media so that you can call for help in case of an emergency.
o Prepare a checklist of fishing and fishing tools cod and the teams that are forced to lead.
No fish or rough tides or rough seas as it can be dangerous to your life. Wait until the tide subsides.

Spring Fishing at Block Island
At this time of year, a mixture of cod, pollack, ling, blackfish, and sometimes large soles can be found here. Since there was a very weak current drift was chosen instead of anchor. We had two rods baited with fresh clams skimmer, and two bars were rigged up to 8 ounce jigs and teasers. All were shipped in water depth of 60 feet and resulting in a structure pleasant. Not much happened, so we have created for another drift. This time, the two bars template was beaten on the way down. After a vigorous battle, a cod that was not followed by an archer fish size more enjoyable. Several drifts produced nine more keeper cod size, so that part went to a nearby background sticky in hopes of bagging a few blackfish or maybe some ling. We anchored on the spot and after weeding through the onslaught of bergalls finally got a little bit is nice blackfish, with a mess of ling in the mixture.
While bottom fishing at Block Island is a still a shadow of its former self, still has its moments. The lower production is cod, pollack, ling and blackfish in reasonably decent numbers from mid-March to through most of May. After the big stroke of luck and striped bass show up, the fishing tends to blur as the hordes of shark begins to make its presence felt. The good thing about fishing here is that you can target various types different fish in the same general area.
I usually begin a journey in search of cod. You can find the fish in water as low as 50 feet deep 150 feet. I find that if there are still some fodder such as mackerel or herring in the water, is more efficient to use metal templates clam baits. Any popular templates that mimic a mackerel or herring will to work. I like to use a combined team consisting of a staff of cod on the main line rigged with a teaser about 15 cm in front of the template. I can use a hook 6 / 0 Sproat type connected to the main line through a dropper loop. I can add a skirt plastic hook and topped with a jelly worm or grub. You submit the matter to the bottom, the crank in a couple of laps, and strong platform template up and down. Sometimes the fish will hit on the upswing, and sometimes they will grab on the way down. If any pollock in the area can not resist this platform.
At times the cod only take bait clam. The standard two-hook equipment is less effective. A 6 / 0 hook joins Sproat main line a foot above the sinker, and a second hook is attached a foot above the hook. If there are any ling in the area, you can change the hook to a size 4 / 0 from the mouth of the ling is much smaller than the cod. It seems that the ling numbers are definitely on the upswing, as more and more of these inhabitants of the tasty bottom are appearing in the catches.
It is also in this mix is the cauldron. Although they are not in the same numbers as the fall, there are enough of them around to make a good day, especially when mixed with some cod and haddock. The standard Virginia type hook around a # 4 or # 3 will have no problem. If there are some big flounder around, they will succumb to a # 4 or # 5 Virginia hook too.
Some of my favorite places around Block Island at this time of year includes the grounds of Appletree which is a series of obstacles that can be found about three miles south of the island. Water depth can vary from 90 to 100 feet and cod, blackfish, and both can be found here. Another great place that is called Gateway area, and is about four miles southeast of Block Island. The water depth is about 130 feet here and sometimes cod and haddock somewhat can be found here.
In search of flounder and blackfish, which tend to favor some of the shallower water points found in 40 to 50 feet of water rights to the southwest corner of the island. You can take the two species in the same drop anchor. You can search high and set pieces that for blackfish. If that does not produce enough we anchor line, that are just on the edge. Put a pot friend or break some skimmer clams especially if the tide is not screaming. Almost there's always a couple of big flounder hanging around the edges. Sometimes small pollack little pods that appear on these points, so
So if you are looking to fill the freezer with some tasty fillets for the summer, spring on Block Island is the way forward.
Esca is a new invention from a Norwegian company called Global scale A / S. The company has combined a natural phenomenon that has existed for millions of years to fishing lures. At night or in the depths of different depth sea creatures have developed a light body to navigate or attract other fish, either for spawning or fish to catch prey.
The company through years development made small units that generate light. These can be placed near lures or bait to attract any fish. Research over a long period shows that this is super effective as species of fish are naturally attracted to light in the afternoon or evening.
The units contain materials that react with the molecules of salt and the development of light. Because it requires a certain amount of salt in water is limited to be used in salt water and brackish water. However, you can use this new invention for those who do pike fishing at sea and pike are able to live and reproduce in brackish water.
This unit generates its own power just by being in salty-tasting water, and last at least 100 hours in the water. Simply connect the unit to the front or between temptation and hooks his pike fishing baits and lures and others expect more sacks. We guarantee the best fishing results. Esca weighs 9 grams, have either blue or green colors and have different flicker frequency. Take a look at this revolutionary new invention and to get ahead of his friends fishing.
