The promenade and the port of Annapolis is considered one of the best power boating and sailing destinations in the Atlantic Coast. A major attraction for boaters of all types are a couple of annual events. Each October, the United States Sailboat Show and the United States Powerboat Show will be held at the port of Annapolis. The events are the oldest and largest sample in the water industry, attracting hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of boating and sailing enthusiasts.
Other fun things to do in Annapolis include boat rides that take visitors on a tour of the port on the River Severn and a spectacular view of the Naval Academy, the Bay Bridge Chesapeake, currently sailing and other attractions.
