My girlfriend Sylvia and I looked mockingly at the request next to the swimming pool employees who had only arrived that day and had not yet fallen into deep relaxation mode. Soon, however, each one of our care had been dissolved as we allow ourselves to be swallowed by the sumptuous environment.

Las Ventanas al Paraiso (The Windows in Paradise) is a haven of beauty and luxury between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo on the tip of the peninsula Baja California in Mexico. From the moment we walked through the crowd of dealers taxis at the airport and in our luxury car waiting and cold water bottles were and mints for the short 20-minute ride to the station, we knew we were in for a treat.

While the proximity of Las Ventanas "to the best of what Baja has to offer (if the party scene expatriates, whale watching in winter, kayak in the spring and fall, or year-round fishing) makes it a good choice for the amateur active travel wants to have his cake and eat it too, a weeklong trip makes these options more feasible.
